ENSEMBLE MEMBERS
Craft. Story. Excellence.
Leighton Atelier Ensemble Members undeniably possess two of the key attributes revered amongst our community: commitment and artistry.
Commitment is demonstrated through impeccable attendance at classes, rehearsals, and events, as well as a willingness to help their peers both in class and on filming days.
Artistry is demonstrated through consistent truthful execution of their craft.
PHILIP CARLISLE
Philip Carlisle never planned to be an actor. He did theater, starting with the lead role in his kindergarten graduation and continuing through college, but graduated with a pair of science degrees.
After a series of closed doors with the military and medical schools he returned to the creative arts in 2018. He’s since written eight novels and has acting representation in AZ and CA.
Philip is also a member of MENSA, a certified Personal Trainer, Deep Water Lifeguard, Scuba Diver, Medical Assistant, Phlebotomist, and Labrador Retriever Petting Specialist.
DANIEL ALI NAVABI
Daniel Ali Navabi discovered his passion for performance after watching his peers bring Alice in Wonderland to life on stage. Inspired by their enthusiasm, he immersed himself in musical theater, appearing in numerous productions before expanding into straight plays.
In 2020, Daniel shifted his focus from the stage to on-camera acting and is now represented throughout the Southwest and West Coast. Outside of acting, he enjoys martial arts and continues to nurture his passion for singing.
With a strong foundation in both theater and film, Daniel looks forward to the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead.
“After devoting three decades to the craft of acting, I have come to believe that the title of “actor” is not one to be claimed, but one to be earned. Each member of the Leighton Atelier Film Ensemble has demonstrated the commitment and artistry required to perform at the highest level. They are prepared to meet the demands of the world’s finest film and television productions.”
